Biography
He graduated in B.Eng (Chemical Engineering) from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2003 and completed MSc. two years later. Right afterwards, he served Intel Technology (M) Sdn Bhd as a Process & Equipment Engineer for almost 1.5 years, based in Kulim Plant. I resigned from Intel in Dec 2006 to join School of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia as a Junior Lecturer. In 2011, He have been granted full time study leave to pursue PhD study under Prof. Dr. Bassim H. Hameed supervision; working on the synthesis of ordered mesoporous silica & ordered mesoporous carbon and its application in wastewater treatment. He have been conferred Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Nov 2014 and currently serving Universiti Sains Malaysia as a Senior Lecturer.
Research Area
His research interests include synthesis of ordered mesoporous materials, activated carbons, low-cost adsorbents, liquid phase adsorption for environmental and product purification and recovery purposes; controlled release of drugs and CO2 and GHG migitation technology.
